I have just finished reading this book trying to look for the sequel,
for some reason I got this book by accident by one click amazon order probably
checking out the plot of the story and let me say THIS BOOK IS REALLY GOOD!
I could'nt put it down. I've read a lot of good books but, this one will be
on my favorite list.

It had me on the first chapter, I really love the Jessie and the all characters
the sense of family and strong characters you will fall inlove with the way
the friendship of all four main charters.

I can not really wait for the sequel usually, I try to avoid books that have
sequel or unfinished story and read the other reviews and I dont' agree with
all prior review bad ending???? really this was such a good cliff hanger that
it would be worth anticipating for sequel!

My praises for the Author for doing an amazing book! thank you it was a good
one for me, having rub my tears in my sleeves when I can't find my tissue box
really it was good, funny, heartfelt story!

I would say pls hurry for the sequel but, I wanted a good one like this one
it was worth for not sleeping and finishing up reading.

Oh my goodness this book is well worth the money. It is addictive I found myself wanting to read it as soon as I got up and late into the night. Luke is a man every girl dreams of athletic, funny, charming,loveable, and the boy next door. Jesse is lost and lonely until she meets De, Mikey, and Luke. Transferring her junior year to a new school and home is hard enough but being shy it's even more challenging. This book will make you laugh, cry, and become so mad that you feel apart of the book. I highly recommend and can not wait to start the second book.
Despite every other review moaning and groaning about the terrible ending, hehe I cannot wait for the next part of the book to come out in June. Hopefully it will make up for the pretty s*** tastic ending this one had. It surprised me none that the story continued on because I have yet to read a book with that horribly bad of an ending. SPOILERS I mean no one really wants they heorine and her boyfriend to split because he accidently killed someone and goes to prision but before he goes is a total dick to her because all she wants to do is spend every waking moment waiting for him. Something clued me in there that it wasnt over yet, nevermind it said so in black and white at the end of the book. Though I did say she did kind of give him a kick in the gut; she shouldnt sit and ponder around while he is gone; go to freaking college even if its in Florida. Anyone I know would be mad if I thought anything like that too. Duh girl. Anyways yea great book, s***ty ending, cant wait for next one.
As a baseball lover, I was really excited to read this book. As always, I read through the non spoiler reviews and was a little nervous to start reading. Most were positive but there also quite a few not so good reviews also. I am just glad i read it so long after it came out so i don't have to wait for the next. This book was very emotional and even though it was a cliffhanger ending, I don't think it was bad like so many other reviews. I can't wait to start the next book to find out how Luke and JJs story ends.
I say read the book. It was a good story, but expect to feel extreme and utter anger at the ending of this book. When I read the reviews for this book, I thought that I could handle a bad ending, but I couldn't. I got angry and wanted to throw my kindle.
NOW, this is a rant about why the ending of this book SUCKED so much!
L.M. Trio, the author was trying to set up a sequel so that Mike, one of the characters in this book could have his story told. First of all, I don't understand why authors these days feel the need write sequels to amazing books that don't need it. If the story can be told in one book, tell the dang story in one book. My second problem with the book ending is the fact that Trio sets up her sequel is by ruin the story of the characters in this book. I loved this book and everything about it. The majority of the story was good. Luke was charming and protective and he was a fighter. Jess was able to let go of all her problems and slowly open up to him. Mike and Deanna were two other great characters in the book. They were sweet and their was clearly something going on between them. I understand her wanting to write them their own story, but she should do that without ruining the great characters and plot that she created for this novel. I was so angry when I got to the ending. It was just so stupid, the two main characters acted completely different from the way they normally do. I have never seen an author ruin such great characters so thoroughly in such a short number of pages. I have never been so angry at an author. She ruined the book. SHE RUINED HER OWN DANG CHARACTERS!
I really hated the book's ending.
The Game Changer starts out with JJ and her dad moving to a new town to get away from the memories of her mother passing away in a horrible car accident. It had been very hard for JJ to move on from that since she was also in the car with her mom. Once the get to this new town, she starts to make new friends with the people across the street, De, her brother Luke, and Mikey. Luke and JJ get very close through the book, and start to have feelings for each other that go beyond friendship. Neither one of them has every been in a relationship before now, and are a little unsure of what to do next, or what to expect. But they have a wonderful friendship together. Luke and Mikey are also the "town celebrities" they are both very good baseball players, both hoping to play in MLB.
I really enjoyed this story. I love how Luke and JJ talk to each other about everything, they really truly are best friends, and it makes their relationship so much better because of this. I was able to feel all of the emotions coming from both of them throughout this book. However in the end, I was seriously thrown for a loop, something so unexpected happened and I was left reeling! I'm a little bit upset with the ending, but I'm looking forward to the next book, The Game Changer Final Score.
